Stay Asleep GMTK 2023 (Too Late to Finish)

Hello Reader, I'm Ryan, a 16 year old Solo Developer.

This game is just purely showcase, no game mechanics I intended to add are not here due to the lack of time I had left due to my bizarre change in development. If you choose to play then go ahead, I would like to know what I could've done with the time I've had.

Anyways this was my first ever Game I created and the first Game Jam I've ever participated in. 

How I combat the topic of this idea was to create objects being effected by the environment drastically itself instead of a normal human. Then you would take care of the player (Who's resting) from any annoyances such as heat and the cold. I had another scrapped Idea where you prevent a Hero from reaching to your base by placing obstacles before hand and then sabotage him while he's on his way to your location. 

All 3D Models were created by me using Blender, although most of the textures I used were downloaded from https://polyhaven.com/all for free.

Unfortunately due to scraping 8 hours of work from my 1st idea and having little time left as I have a job early in the morning, I have to put this game to a close. For now. I don't want to waste the potential ideas that this Game Jam bloomed inside my head.

Anyways this Game Jam was a blast and really showed my weaknesses, something I was looking forward to when waiting for this Game Jam to start. I look forward to next year's Game Jam and the future for this game after this competition.
